Yeah he was in the big chair, but Congress has powers equal to him (in fact they can override his vetoes which makes them more powerful in certain aspects). If his post presidency is anything like his presidency, I'm sure he's on vacation... I'm sure his friends and family are smart enough to not put him in a position of power at any of their companies (given his past reputation in such positions) but he'll likely still float around here and there in all that's been created through Haliburton, the oil companies and Iraq in general.

If myself and many others are right and Bush never did much care for Americans other than his close circle of friends and family, then I'm sure he doesn't really care what Obama is up to.

It was the Bush administration that didn't regulate the SEC as they should and let people like Madoff get away with shit that he did even though they had information on him.
It was the Bush administration that killed 4000 soldiers when they send them to war for a reason that no one to these day knows except give money to Bush's friend and it was the Bush administration that wasted all that money on the war on people that still hate you rather then invest the money in the United States.
It was the Bush administration that fought green technology even though the American people were paying more for oil which lessened the money they can spend and keep the economy going so yes it was Bush that fucked everything up.

Bush was not the one that created it all. This has been a long time in comming., But he and obama will share one thing. The Blame.

An administration doesn't legislate/create laws. Executive Orders can be issued, but they of course can be countermanded by legislation from CONGRESS. The President can introduce legislation and he can sign/veto bills which have been approved by Congress. Congress has the power to override a veto by the President.

It was the Administration that requested the action to begin, but Congress must approve the action. Only Congress has the power to declare War, not the President. There are so many opinions about Iraq and not a single person has all the facts except the people at the top, and I doubt you are up high enough to be in the know. Not a Bush lover here, but also not stupid enough to drink the Kool-Aid of the opposition as well. I find myself in the middle of it all.

Oh God... you seriously think that it's just Bush that has fought against things? Not Clinton? Not Bush Sr? Not Reagan? Not Carter? Not the whole fucking lot of them? If you believe your representation is doing what's best for you and the country as a whole, then you are delusional as well.

Accepting that your people are in positions of power is just determining that you are OK with your opposition getting fucked over, and that's no different than it is now. When will we actually have representation that looks at things as good vs. bad, right vs. wrong. They are after all making judgements for 350 million people, not just for themselves or their states or their districts. It's like none of them understand that.

Obama is no different than the rest. He will not fix things, he will not change things, he will not even be any different. Same shit, different leader, that's all.
