        In the last 16 years only 4 teams won the EPL : ManU, Blackburn, Arsenal and Chelsea

        In the Last 16 years 5 teams won the Serie A : Lazio, Roma , Milan ,Juventus and Inter and if you add 3 more years to that you can add Napoli and Sampdoria.


        When you talk about AC Milan you simply loose, it's the most victorious team in football history. This is a fact:

                                Notice how hull were only promoted this season aswell and they have had some excellent matches against the BIG 4.

                                and AC milan are NOT the most dominating in europe, Real Madrid are and they lost 4-0 against liverpool so, again,

                                                                                                                                                Picking up on Ross' post, whilst Maldini is a Milan (and football) legend, I reckon their greatest defender was Franco Baresi. That guy was incredible, and the bedrock that Milan brought the likes of Maldini and Costacurta through on.

                                                                                                                                                Alas Moxx, in recent years I dont think Serie A compares to the Premier League in terms of quality or success. I reckon that if you asked 100 people here to pick an Italian game or a Premiership game to watch, 90% would go for the Premiership.

                                                                                                                                                The English national team does have its problems and in reality they start at grass roots level. However nowadays kids are being encouraged to be comfortable with the football rather than just wanting to "lump it" up the pitch. When will we see the benefits? Who knows, maybe in 20 years time. But there are steps being taken to ensure we create a new generation of footballers who can play football "the right way" (like Spain showed us recently). Personally I think bringing in Cappello was a great move as he will instill discipline, desire and pride into the national team.

Even from the so called smaller teams in the league.
