StOned, I am unable to negotiate, as these are already listed for fixed prices at Namecheap (just click the links and you'll see what I mean.)

My bottom line is that I am too damned busy to dicker over pennies. If you want to make me four-figure offers on my premium domains, I'll dicker in the usual way. But for forty bucks or a few hundred, I ain't got that kinda time; the usual back-and-forth eats up all the value in the transaction for me.

I figure the same is true for most of the people who might want to BUY a two-hundred-dollar domain; if they can click the link and own a domain, they might bite, but they aren't even going to bother if they have to spend a week backing-and-forthing, talking about where the domain is hosted, worrying about who is gonna push to whom, and so forth. Life is too short.

So, that's why I'm going with the ultra-convenient fixed-price sales lately as I work on tightening up my portfolio. It seems to work pretty good, too.

People underestimate the formidable barrier that is non-financial transaction costs.

Watching these boards, I am perpetually astonished at the amount of effort people will put into a thirty dollar transaction.
