I usually prop the cam on top of the monitor and move the cam window as close to it at possible... makes it a bit easier to keep up with the chat without looking inattentive

I do two weekly shows for my members area and I am looking right at the camera most of the time. I also have my cam above the monitor. If I was going to shoot a promo for a show, I would not be staring at the monitor. I would look straight at the camera.

To me it looked like she was checking herself on the monitor... that's why she kept moving the cam. I think a little more practice then she should be able to get it down.

I agree 100 percent. That is why I mentioned it and I even gave a lick. That way next time she will look at the camera straight on. I think she is a beautiful lady and will do great on that site.

My cam is right next to my monitor on the left and I always put my picture in the left corner of my monitor so when I watch myself, it almost looks like I'm looking into the cam

It's hard to not look at yourself while ur working a webcam show, esp when you have chat that you need to keep up with..

Oh definitely, she wasn't even moving around quite enough to have to make sure she was still in frame. I think a more natural "I'm using my computer" look is to have the cam off to the side at least.
