They need to MONETIZE the project--so throw in Online Gambling in the mix

Also, another way to make money off this: many server companies are tired of jurisdictional confusion regarding hosting issues--so, offer hosting. Of course, no CP or other shit that's universally deplorable.

The problem I see with this 'floating' international waters host island is where do you get the power to run the system? Solar? Saltwater ionization/chemical reactions to generate power?

The overall idea is good, but the communal ideas being tossed around will doom it to failure. There will ALWAYS be those that work harder than others, and those that will take advantage of the situation just sponge off of others. With no real incentive to create, why bother?
