Oddly enough my first thought was going to be "where are they going to put their garbage?"
The overall idea is good, but the communal ideas being tossed around will doom it to failure. There will ALWAYS be those that work harder than others, and those that will take advantage of the situation just sponge off of others. With no real incentive to create, why bother?
