    What HD cams are you shooting with?

    I'm looking to get something new but would rather stay under the $4000 range is possible.

    I'm a bit out of the HD loop so wanted to ask what some of you pros are using.

          Check out the new Sony Z5U, it is a little over your$4K price, but it is the best camera for $4,100. I am getting one of them.

              My new site was shot on a Z1U courtesy of Dirty Danza... it really is truly amazing. For my other stuff I've been using an hv30 and the quality is actually really good.

                  I think that you really can't beat the HV30 for the price... granted it's a consumer camera but it kicks ass. I love mine.

                      I am using the Panasonic HMC-150. Been very happy with it to this point.

                      Don't think anyone on here has latched on to it yet, but it works for me, especially the cost of the media cards. Yeah it would be nice to shoot with a HVX170 or 200, or with a Sony with the SxS cards, but they are pricey as hell. And for what? So I can kick up colorspace on web delivered content?

                      For your budget (4K), check it out. You won't be disappointed I don't think. ICQ me if you want to discuss it at any length.
