There's a palapa beach bar right there on the beach at the end of the runway, great place to watch the landings

I was just thinking about that... wow, crazy shit. I noticed the bar, road and landing strip but didn't realize the planes were than damn close.

I bet the pilots like to see just how close they can get their wheels to the top edge of that fence. Probably a challenge kinda thing.

I like the one where it has to fly over a hill and go about 40 feet off of it on the back side to make the runway with enough time to stop...

Hard to believe insurance will cover these kinds of everyday situations.
