I first saw that St. Maarten beach landing video a few months ago -- pretty crazy. It would be cool to witness in person. Here are a couple other videos that you might like -- the first one ends in a surprising (and witty) manner. :-) The second one is just another cool plane related video; although, I'm sure many would cringe at the use of the word "plane" to describe an F16 fighter.

We were there not even 10 days ago... It was unreal when we flew in because i said "shit this looks exactly like that crazy youtube video where the landing strip is right on the beach". Then the person beside me said "this is that crazy airport haha!"

I seadoo'ed out one day and watched some planes fly in, didn't see any super big ones (like the one in the video) but man it was pretty surreal! Definetely worth checking out if you are in St Maarten!

those planes were crazy taking off, there is a mountain in front of the runway , so soon as you take off, you have to do a steep bank to get away from it

have some shots here

they were flyingt over the yacht we were on

I like the one where it has to fly over a hill and go about 40 feet off of it on the back side to make the runway with enough time to stop...

Hard to believe insurance will cover these kinds of everyday situations.
