Sigh, if I carried harted towards the US and its people, it would obviously be grounds for me to leave. I am just not in that position. I simply do not agree with war in general, my opinions tell me that this war is of no use, its official reasons are ridiculous, and lives of soldiers are being lost that are not meant to be lost. I personally don't have anyone close to me in this war, but if I had my opinions would be even stronger. I don't support the US troups, I do not support the Iraqi troups. I believe in peaceful solutions. Rant over. Back to business.

During the 1930-40's... had attempts of peace been used instead of force... what would this world be like?

I abstain from either, since they are not " my" troops, not being US cit.

We're talking slightly different grounds here. First of all Hitler and his staff ordered and supervised the killing of millions of innocent jews, gays and people with disabilities. Secondly he ordered the invasion of Poland on September 1st, 1939. Hitler started the war, and as a result, England and France both declared war on Germany on September 3rd.
I did not see Iraq recently start a war on anyone. In fact, there is not even a real proof that Hussein was directly linked to the attacks on the WTC in 2001. At least none that I know of. Also, there is no real proof of him having weapons of mass destruction (at least none that I know of). So far they haven't found anything either.
By the way, what happened to the search and capturing of Osama bin Laden, the one who was mainly responsible for planning and carrying out the terror attacks on this soil? Somehow the focus on the failure of capturing him slightly blurred out of the whole picture.Comment

The Germans, French, Italian, Austrian, Russian... we should have let them all fight. We would have been fine sitting here, on the other side of an ocean, negotiating a peace treaty...
We would have saved our lives and our money. But no, some puppet in Washington decided he needed to get his hands in on the action and ended up killing many of our brothers.
