Statistically there is a bigger chance you get killed in New York than in Iraq.

UK has retarded law - if you smile to wrong woman you could be jailed and accused for sexual harassment

the uk may have it's faults , but being jailed for smiling at a woman? :1orglaugh i don't know what you've been reading.

as far as there being more chance of being killed in new york than iraq, i find that very hard to believe.

I spent a month on Margarita Island, which is part of Venezuela. We had to fly into the Caracas airport and I didn't like the vibe there at all.

Margarita was pretty nice though. Not a single rainy day, great beaches, and cheap services/food/booze.

On the way out, we flew from the Porlamar (Margarita) airport to Trinidad & Tobago and then to Miami to avoid having to go back to Caracas.

Colombia
North Mexico
Bad cities or townships in South Africa (nature there in SA is really nice and the harbour of Cape town too and the rest sucks)
North pole (too cold)
South pole (too cold)

Any jungle or dessert or other places with too many scorpions/lethal spiders/snakes or cannibals where ever in the world.

And in the US, I would not trust one single person. And that is after I had been living there for 2+ years. These stats speak for themselves http://www.disastercenter.com/crime/uscrime.htm

Been all over the world a few times and the only place I fear is returning to the USA and dealing with US Customs and Immigration. My own country is the only place I ever get treated like a criminal.

spacedog 03-03-2009 06:43 PM

Anyone saying Africa must be fucking nuts.

I'd LOVE to go there.. certainly there's a few countries in Africa I wouldn't want to visit, but goddamn there's so many others that I do want to see someday.

wyldblyss 03-03-2009 06:56 PM

A friend of a friend went to visit China. She is a young lawyer, and been all over the world. She landed. She withdrew money out of a banking machine twice, texted home to say she arrived.. She was last spotted at some temple/garden thing. And then she was gone. No phone calls, no text messages. No activity on bank accounts, credit cards or her cell phones. Travel Checks have not been cashed. She never showed up for her flight home. She was supposed to come home the beginning of December. Her family has hired local private investigators as well as sent well known P.I's there to search. No clues. She has disappeared off the face of the earth.

I would NEVER EVER go there.

They are the biggest terrorist and NAZI states in the world. However the paradox is that both are NAZI states created by Jews. Zionism = Nazism.

Also, both have nuclear bombs... They have wepoans of mass destruction.

The world should all get together, Germany, France, China, Russia and make an inspection in USA and ISRAEL, to destroy the weapons of mass destruction. They are a big menace.

whew, an extreme comment ... but hey, i must agree to a certain %age ... if i was just a tourist i wud avoid the US - seriously ... all RAP CRAP bums ... but when i visit the states i go to a small village in MN to pay my bro a visit where ppl are polite - i wud never visit a major city in the country of rifle swinging idiots lol :2 cents:

I would definitely not go to Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran or any country in the middle east, as someone said and I concur... FUCK that place!

There are robbers and idiots everywhere in the world, those who said they wouldn't go to the US or to Brazil are just nutcases. US and Brazil are fucking BIG places. If you go to Brazil, there's no need to get inside a Favela in the middle of Rio de Janeiro, just go to a tourist place like Maceio, Fortaleza, Florianopolis, Curitiba or any other. You'd be amazed by the fauna and vegetation there. Besides, women are HOT and get to the point fast, go once and you probably wouldn't want to go back home. :2 cents:

what about very rich, developed countries, like Singapore, with a very strict judicial system? They will execute you by hanging for drug traffiking (even a small amount of hard drugs).

I hear they have also severe fines for throwing away an empty can or some bubble gum on the street. Anyone know what happens, if you get in fight in a bar there, or so?

edit: even chewing gum seems to be not allowed there http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chewing...n_in_Singapore

When a BBC reporter suggested that overly draconian laws would stifle the people's creativity, Lee Kuan Yew retorted: "If you can't think because you can't chew, try a banana."[3]

This guy knows what he is talking about. Bring them gum aborts on!! :thumbsup

Yep. i missed my flight from houston to Rio and decided to go Houston to Caracas and down through Brazil to Rio. They would not honor my ticket in Caracas. Had to spend the night with no luggage but thought pharmacy, shower and check out the city. EVERYONE said no, don't do that. They ordered in stuff from the pharmacy. They illegally changed some cash so I didn't need to do that. And when I tried to go out later, they had me so jumpy i just skipped it.

Most dangerous city in South America right now.

And the guy picking on rio needs to pay attention, we are about equal to Miami at its worse in 1990. But you wouldn't know that as based on your posts you are semi-retarded.

Sausage 03-04-2009 05:21 AM

Of all the places I have actually been ... probably Bali since the attacks and the US are the only 2 places that scare me more than a little nowadays. Felt safer in North Korea than I do in the states by a long margin.

Though Afganistan, Iraq, Somalia, Nigeria spring to mind. I do want to visit Syria and Iran one day, from people who have been they are apparently amazing places to actually visit regardless of the politics.

Well each there own. I no longer live in the US but i definitely feel safer in the US then some other countries. But comparing it to Europe, I can see it but Russia? My Russian friends have offered to take me many times and they always mention the crime issue.

qxm 03-04-2009 05:24 AM

OK ... so I'd say:

Mexico - the parts where kidnappings and drug wars are going down
Guatemala/El Salvador - I hear Gangs own those countries and even charge taxes to local businesses :(
Israel - If you are not afraid of bombs/bullets and rockets then ur fine! :)
Iran/Irak/Afganistan/Pakistan - see Israel for references
Countries in central Africa - I heard someone describe it as "Sello do mondo" du no what he meant....

.... I know there are several countries I have to add but those are the ones I remember ....

rayadp05 03-04-2009 05:28 AM

Would love to take a trip over to Iraq to shoot (and fuck) some of those Iraqi girls but I would never go there due to the fucked up laws, regulations as well as the war shit. Some of those middle eastern bitches are fucking hot. :thumbsup

I once read that Margarita could be a nice place to buy property and live.
But looks like it might not be that safe after all, and if you buy a condo there, there could theoretically even take it away from you at some point, as long as Chavez rules?
I may sound ignorant, but don't know much about that... never ever been to that region yet...

It might also be that there are a lot of Americans on here who do not feel very welcome there. Islamic fundamentalist govt trying to build the bomb seems a bit of risk to want to go say hi. Add in that i have never heard anything fun or interesting about Tehran or Iran and I could see me writing it off pretty fast.
