As Seen On TV Product Affiliate Programs -- A Safe Bet In Uncertain Economic Times?

I think they would be. As Seen On TV products are inexpensive, and with a higher demand on "money-saving" and "time-saving" products, it might be a good way to start in mainstream affiliate marketing.

Here's a link for further consideration: https://www.asseenontv.com/affiliatewelcome.html

Back in '95 a buddy of mine owned a bunch of "As Seen On TV" kiosks in about 10 different malls. This was before you could buy all that stuff at Wal-Mart, so it was either get it from the official retailers or order it over the phone. I think the big gimmick at the time was the Ab Roller, and he used to sell hundreds of them a week at like $150 a pop. Then Wal-Mart started carrying the "As Seen On TV" brand for way less than he was able to sell for and he had to close all his kiosks down. Fucking Wal-Mart...

Ah man, that's true. I think I actually had one of those Ab Rollers, and judging by my girth, it didn't work.
