They (Republicans) sat in the captain's chair for the past 8 years, and controlled by houses of Congress for 6 of the 8. They sat ideally by for the better part of a decade, and now it's Obama's fault that he can't clean up a decade of Republican mess in a few weeks of being in the white house?!?

Well any "real" physical Conservative Republican, should have long left the current party and changed to Libertarian party by now. After all that's the closest party to what "old school" pre Regan Republicans there is.

What is left in the current Republican party is essentially party extremist. Meaning they really don't care so much about the country, but rather put their political party above all. They really remind me of the communist party of the old USSR. It was all about "the party" and corruption but fuck the non party members and the rest of the country.

While democrats aren't perfect at least they are trying..

StuartD Im going to say this again HIS FUCKING PARTISAN PIECE OF SHIT STIMULUS BILL has doomed this country to decades of decline. He could have saved us by nationalizing the banks or letting them fail and cutting taxes across the board, yet he chose to push his socialist agenda in a bloated temporary bill. All those jobs that bill is supposedly going to create wont start until 2010 and then they only last as long as the projects. Then its back to the unemployment line for those people.

And Bush's bailout that gave AIG a ton of money already? This stock crash today is the direct result of AIG sucking ass but it was Bush that gave them a fortune more than most companies make in a life time.

Completely agree. There is no one magic bullet. But at least they are trying to fix it. I am independant, so I do not have a dog in either side of the fight. But these Limbaugh and Hannity Republicans foaming at the mouth daily are hilarious.
