It doesn't matter if you "hack" his email or know the password. You are not authorized to access his email and I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

It's like if I broke in to your house to look around and claimed that I didn't actually "break in" because I knew you left the key under the mat.

If he had a key, he couldn't be charged with breaking and entering.......The most he could get is unlawful entry or burglary if something was taken....But since he didn't BREAK anything, there is no charge.

And yes, I have checked myspace accounts also....

If anyone here doesn't like it, don't promote me and don't sign up to my site and chargeback....

So if I leave my front door unlock that means you can enter my house? That's still against the law.

I'd love to see some actual laws pertaining to this one.

Is it against the law to check someone else's email? Which law?

I'm telling you it's illegal for you to do what you're doing not because I give a shit but because you might not want to be admiting to that kind of thing on public message boards.

If you don't believe me google your state name and "unauthorized email access".

Hey, they guy fucked you over so personally I say get him. I'm just trying to help you cover your own ass.

You sound a like a broke douche.

You accessing someone else's email account without there consent is against the law. No matter what way you try and spin it. The fact that you did in fact "guess" his password (may it be with inside information or not), you indeed violated his personal property without consent.

Just because a brute force attack guessed right on the first try does not mean that the brute force did not occur.

Here's a simple answer. How would you feel and what would you do if I got into your e-mail account?

Did you find anything else of interest while going through his personal emails?

So in your mind it's cool for me to hack your email? No problem there, you don't think that's illegal?

I'd like to know that also, even though I don't give a fuck if I broke a law or not.

If I signed up to your site, charged back $100 dollars, and used the same email password, then I DESERVE to get my email looked into....Keep in mind, I looked into it just so I could find the confirmation email which I did...I HAVE hacked myspace accounts before with passwords from fraudulent customers and don't give two shits about it.

And I don't give a fuck about what I THINK is Illegal....I only give a fuck about what I can be caught and prosecuted for....

yes he could. I have a key to a friend house. Now let's say we get on the outs and he wnts his key back and before I give it back I make a copy. Now I still have a key so that means I can continue to go into his house without permission? hardly.

Asking for it back and not getting it is different from leaving the door unlocked for some stranger to wander into....You know it and I know it....So come up with whatever scenario you need to make your point and to make you feel better about it....I personally DON'T GIVE A FUCK.

not sure if any law was broken here, possibly the terms of use for the email provider, ie gmail/hotmail, but even if they were aware of this happening, it seems unlikely that they would give this transgression much weight
