    PacificRack Announces New Backbone Partnership with MZIMA!

    We are proud to announce that PacificRack (http://www.pacificrack.com) has formed a partnership with MZIMA (http://www.mzima.net) as an additional provider of network backbone transit.

    PacificRack will be turning up a 10Gigabit per second (10,000Mbp/s) port to MZIMA by our currently planned date of March 1st, 2009.

    Mzima?s IP transit service is designed for enterprise applications requiring the highest level of performance and availability. Mzima?s international backbone network has been designed from the ground up, combining best-of-breed technologies, partners, long-haul routes and transit providers to create the best possible Internet access solution.

    MZIMA Features:

    * Powered by FORCE10 Routing Solutions.

    * The first backbone network designed from the ground up to support line-rate 10 Gig services everywhere.

    * True scalability and the ability to deliver it ? native, line-rate 10 GbE services throughout the entire network.

    * Mzima?s distributed Metro NAP architecture ensures network availability even in the event of catastrophic facility failure or fiber cut by having multiple layers of redundancy throughout the network.

    * Separate optical transport network isolates the layer-3 IP network from long-haul fiber cuts and outages providing an unmatched level of redundancy.

    * Direct connectivity to all the major peering points within Mzima?s backbone footprint ? ensures greater network reach and route diversity.

    * Peering with other networks worldwide, including international network providers, Tier-1 and Tier-2 backbones and broadband Cable/DSL networks.

    * Mzima?s proprietary route optimization technology ensures traffic takes the lowest-latency and most-stable path every time.

    * Force10?s line-rate sFlow implementation allows per-packet analysis of traffic anywhere on the network.

    * Non-oversubscribed bandwidth.

    This new partnership brings PacificRack's backbone capacity to 60Gigabits per second (60,000Mbp/s) over our fully redundant BGP-4 network. We are committed to providing excellent service that both exceeds your expectations and enables your business to grow without limitations.

    Thank you for your time in reading this announcement, and we hope it brings you excitement as you see your provider expanding to serve you better.
