I am confused...

It looks like it's using that script that makes your site look nice on an iphone, but then there is a download app button.

Is it an application or just a website 'skinned' to work nicely on an iphone?

If you visit www.sexstationtv.com on an iphone you will get a specific iphone formatted version of the site and it kinda looks like that to me? (I mean you have all the right format videos etc, but essentially....)

Clearly I'm missing something?

Its a web app. Not sure where you are seeing the download button, but there is a similar option which adds the icon to your home screen.
