Whoever wrote that knows what they are doing. The article goes along well with it's readers. The site fits with the digg crowd which the average reader won't likely have any of those things. Tell them the things they don't have won't make them happy, that makes them happy... Bam they take interest in you(or site).

that is a pretty good read and I agree with what they have to say.
I have a lot of friends that got so wrapped up in trying to be famous, rich, or really good at something that they passed up everything else in their life, such as friends and family.
making money now is great, dont get me wrong but it comes with a lot of stresses. I look at all my shit that i have bought over the past 3 years and I hardly use any of it, but at the time, i HAD to have it, and now im paying for it either in credit card payments or looking at it and thinking "geez, did I really need a second xbox 360? I dont even use the other one"
In any case i believe its true that money and fame do not bring happiness. id much rather have half the shit i have now and more memories of going on vacations or trips with friends... just my
