It's perfectly normal to be wary of death. Ya know though... Ya not going to die today, and who knows when. Your best hope is to die when you are ready. Thats the absolute best you can aim for. That will be the best gift you could ever possibly give yourself. Be ready, be happy with yourself, count things you have done for those around you and once ya get to that point... You will want to die, as you will learn you have no business being alive. I consider myself in the later bracket. I have no business being alive so any time is fine with me. |

I wrestled with probably the same thoughts as you, I goto admit I am fearful sometimes don't get me wrong but on the other hand I got tired of caring about it. I was rather consumed about the prospect of having no choice. I am the kind of guy that wants choices, but this is a case where there is not one or maybe there is. Thats the mother fucker right there. You REALLY want to live forever? I really doubt it! My grandmother basically put it to me like the above. She told me, "By the time you die you better just hope you are ready.", and its strange my grandmother told me that when I was 6 and terrified as the actual realisation hit me and now she is dying of cancer ( am not jesting ) and she say's she is ready almost 33 years later to the near present. She done everything she could with her life and had a good time. I believe her when she says it. |

First off, sorry about your grandmother. It's never easy to see someone dying, and I feel for you. Second, it's an interesting concept, mortality, or immortality. Living forever could probably be agony. Watching people you love come and go. I think it is the actual passage of time in general that makes me sad, not the end itself. Time is a bitch. |

Oh man.
Awright. Time. Time is the bitch. The Perception of time, and time itself and its passing is definatly no different than being able to percieve light from dark. If we can percieve time and I think we all do in our own way it leads me to believe there is indeed an afterlife. Time is seemingly infinate, The dimension we exhist in is seemingly infinate. Time and Space being infinite then all possibilities are true. So my worse fear is affirmed. There is an afterlife if you want an absolute answer to what I think on the matter. Because even if we die, odd's are the possibility of life after this one of some sort hold's true in absolute logic. The improbability of it all makes absolute probabilities occur. |
i dont wanna find out.

Maybe a good question also is..
Not Where Are We? But When Are We? Have I done this all before fuck it certainly seems like it! If scientific theories hold true then the prospect of reincarnation is true. You can doubt Scientific theory and accept theological theory as there being a an afterlife and vice Versa, both come to the same conclusion. YOU EITHER BELEIVE: A: In everything being constant and infinate by scientific theory, will point to yes there is life after death as all possibilities are not impossible in infinite time and the matter within the dimension forever repeating constantly. B: The easy way out, Accept Theological explanations where it is whole heartedly assumed there is an afterlife at the basis of the belief. There really is no other logical conclusion whether you believe in god or not but those fucking improbabilities certainly say there is. |
I'd like to believe that there is life after death or something beyond, but the reality is we are hard wired organic matter, when the system shuts down, it's pretty much lights out and our bodies decay. Just another body breaking down and feeding the cycle of life and evolution of the planet.
There really is nothing to fear about death other then the matter in which we die, we all hope it is peacefully. |
i don't believe there is still life, but i think it exist if you believe

Just because some things do not happen in this one does not mean it wont happen or not happen in the next one but it all will happen again in the same way and different ways. In TIME. LOL:) |

OK now lets snap out of this dimension and go to other dimensions.
Is this Dimension just merely a check in and check out counter? Are there other Dimensions? Scientific theory says Yes there are other Dimensions and in the theories also these dimensions have thier own laws and the number of Dimensions? Well again Scientific theory says there could be infinite dimensions! Because If there is one other dimension there certainly are more ( and we certainly live in a dimension as you all are well aware of ) and if there are more then one then number is infinate! Well shit... Now we got all TIme, All Space and ALl Dimensions on the table. Ruling out the possibility of an afterlife becomes absurd. SO lets think about that after dinner. Because tomarrow you will eat dinner again. Maybe not the same meal but odd's are you will eat something around the same time and if you don';t sometime you will and in another dimension you did and in another you are eating right now... So lets not get confused:) |

life after death = proven impossible

What if we were never born?

Naa, not really |
The same people who think all of existence and the evolution is not something that happened by chance are the same people who live their lifes like robots (like 99% do).. working, eathing, sleeping... not giving anything else a thought... just human caddle
Most people I've met in my life never even tried to think outside the box.. what is life? what is reality? .. they just think about their works, their kids and how big their house is.. Reality is so very fucking strange because it's all generated in your head.. all you experience is what your brain decides to make out of the signals your senses sends it... the world outside your brain is nothing but data... data your mind transform into the picture of have of the world.. the world itself is nothing like that at all |
I agree that religion CAN possibly make a person want to live for something a bit more than an athiest, agnostic, darwin'ian person
but teaching religion as truth like some magic created human and everything is just ridiculous, teaching lies I dont agree with, should be some other way to have something to live for in life rather than a big fat lie, just because in society it's deemed as the "good thing" or the "right thing" |
It's death after life.

We'll see someday...
