Yeah Fossil is the way to go if you don't care about brands, movements, build quality etc, and just want something that looks good. Check out the outlet stores and they'll have hundreds to choose from.

For an inexpensive, elegant watch, you can't beat the Mondaine Swiss Railways Watch. Elegant modern design, easy to read (the face was designed for maximum readability across a Swiss railroad platform) and you'll probably get change back from your $200.

Take a trip to St Maarten. You can't find a cheaper watch with license of authenticity anywhere int he world than there. Rado watches for excellent prices. That's where I bought mine

If I wanted to go nuts, I'd get something from Vulcain (not available in the U.S.) or maybe the Glycine Airman 7 (although I have no use for three different times + GMT).
