    I spend my money, she spends hers. How is it wasteful to give someone you care about something or take them to dinner? Just because it isn't their birthday or Christmas? Do you only go out twice a year?

        Do you spend 500-700 when you go out? If so...where are you going? You gotta draw the line somewhere in my opinion. I';ll buy something for my girl for no reason at all but to spend close to 1k per occassion, we don't need to impress each other that much.

            I got him Lacoste shirt, khakis (work clothes) and a bear with a heart USB 8gig stick... so like $110.
            He got me two bears, chocolates, movie tix, and after movie smoothies... oh and he paid for my highlights, pink streaks, and mani today... so lik $290.

            Sex tomorrow He has to work early in the morning.

            I was hoping for white roses dipped in pink.. after dropping hints for like a month... but I think he didn't buy them just because I dropped so many damn hints.

            We pretty much buy whatever toys we want.. whenever we want... so we try to do small meaningful stuff on the holidays...

                                                    My costs were fairly low I suppose.
                                                    Handmade a card (really hate spending money on them). Then dinner which consisted of a shared steak, 2 lobsters, 2 potatoes, and some creamed spinach (shared), oh tiramisu for dessert (shared). Since we buy our beef on the hoof and get it butchered it is sort of hard to breakdown a price for a steak - best guess 2 bucks. Lobsters ran 45, veggies another 8 bucks or so, then 6 on dessert. 65 bucks or so give or take a few.
