What do you do when you fall in love with a better woman?

So I give up.. my old girlfriend who I never got around to marrying (in 7 years) turned out to be a bit of a retarded bitch. She goes through all my stuff trying to find evidence that I meet other women, and last night (fri 13th) we had a big brawl because I told her I love someone else.

I met a girl not long ago, we've spent some time together, and seems like we are in love. She is a lot smarter, very pretty, younger, and has some musical talent and is really just very nice.

What should I do? Bear in mind that I'm a big fat ugly loser who should be lucky to get any attention at all from women.

Pretty hard to come back from telling her you love somebody else. I couldn't continue in a relationship after that. If the other woman loves you in return then go with your heart but don't string along your girlfriend especially after telling her the day before Valentines Day that you love somebody else.

Things happen..people fall out of love and in love with somebody else. If you are not with the right person don't prolong the agony and on top of that miss being with the one that might be the right person.

Thanks Sarah that was really good advice.

I think this time I really will follow my heart. I feel like I'm only together with the current lady because every time we try to break up, I see how much it hurts her, and I can't resist but to comfort and try to make things better. But I think it's probably a fairly certain sign that we're not 'meant' to be together..

My advice to you is to let the current girlfriend go....if you have not wanted to marry her after 7 years of a relationship then it is most likely that you never will. As for the new girl in your life, I hope that you are absolutely certain that she loves you the same way as you love her. It is very easy to mistaken love when things are new and exciting. I do however have a question for you.....how do you know it is love when you have never shared an intimate moment with this new woman?

Your old girlfriend can't be that bad if you were with her for 7 years. She went through your stuff because she knew something was going on. We are good at knowing when men are up to no good. Telling her that you love someone else was just plain mean. After 7 years you could have handled it much better.

How do you know this new girl even loves you? A lot of people think they are in love when they first get to know someone. You have that honeymoon phase where everything is great. Two months from now she could dump you for a better looking guy like you are doing to your old girlfriend. Does this newer girl know that you have had a girlfriend for 7 years? If she does, than you do not want her. Any woman that knows a guy has a girl and still dates them is a loser.

You should think it over. 7 years is a lot to give up over a women that you have known for only a few months. The new girl could be gone tomorrow, but your girlfriend has stuck around.

I've been in a relationship for 8+ years now. I admit that I become a retarded cunt bitch whenever I knew that my b/f is playing around. And it hurts me more if I couldn't find any evidence though I knew that there was something wrong.
