It's kinda strange that he has not posted any replies to this thread in order to try and defend himself against the accusations that are being made against him. If webmasters are slamming your business as well as your reputation, you would think that the person getting slammed would at least make a few replies to try and defend their reputation and/or business practices in a forum that is frequented by people that work in the same industry.Comment

I had intended to not post to this thread until I saw Mo's post. I to did some work for The Butcher (I didn't know at the time people had issues with him). It wasn't much really, he ad asked me to write some article style posts for Sponsor Chat and would pay 10 bucks per post. After 6 posts I asked if he would send me some cash, I mean it was chump change but I never got my money and I've not heard from him in roughly a month. He told me that he was having problems with the person who did his epass/paypal exchanges. I'm so glad I didn't do any thing more major for him.Shane

He just screwed me out of 300 dollars this last week. I knew it didn't feel right but a good friend vouched for him, it was only 300 bucks, etc.
Amazing the amount of work he will go through to screw someone out of 300 bucks.
He then banned my friend from his board. lol
He will try to convince you to do the transfer by offering premium ad space on his site, but it sounds from posts here that "premium ad" space is garbage and used to facilitate any scam he is currently pulling off.
Knowing it didn't feel right, i sent the PayPal as a "good" instead of a "service" so that may help in getting the money back as PayPal doesnt dispute non tangibles. I have already written it off as a loss though.Comment

OH SHIT YES!!!! I remember the phone calls!
He hit me up on ICQ a couple months ago, and invitied me to his forum ... I could not remember exactly what it was I had heard or remembered about him, so I went and signed up just to test the waters ..
within a week of signing up, he had PM'ed me telling me to "find a few extra dollars in my epass, and buy some advertising from him"
I found this approach very forward, and to be honest, I was offended. If I want to buy advertising, just make sure your fucking ADVERTISE HERE button is large enough and in my face, and I will find it ....
Now it is all coming back to me ...

Wow, the exact same thing happened with me. I checked Alexa and Board Tracker and... well lets say it wasn't worth the 'deal' he was offering because someone 'backed out' at the last minute (sound familiar?)
I found out a couple days later that he talked shit about us to one of our better affiliates.. the boy should do his research a little better. He kept trying to contact me like I was his buddy until I finally broke down and slapped his ass on ignore

Just a note - before doing any work with anyone - check out their references and also the webmaster boards. If you got screwed, then part of it is your fault for not doing due diligence. It is sad that many have been screwed by others - but if anyone asks to do business with me, not only do I check out a minimum of 3 sources but also all webmaster boards to verify their integrity.Comment

You are 100 percent correct. I trusted a friend, was in a hurry, and it was only 300 bucks. I take full responsibility as i knew the risks. I also know I most likely wont get my money back.
Should I just let it go? Probably.
However, I don't like people stealing from me, and I plan to spend way more than he ripped me off for to make his life uncomfortable for as long as possible.
I also want to make it as hard as possible for him to rip anyone else off.Comment

What he's real good about is having some sort of emergency that he HAS to sell ad space for to pay back this or pay off that.
Then he gets poor unsuspecting suckers to help him quickly close a deal.
He prays about nice people.
And if anything at all happens when trying to help him he freaks out, goes completely ape shit. I mean like full blown mental breakdown.
He does this a lot and says stuff like I have to come up with a quick (insert amount here) to pay the salary for some guy or needs it or his house will get foreclosed on by next week.
It's always some dire emergency.
I was a real dumb ass, used to try and help him all the time until finally someone came to me and was like omg do you not know about his scams?
