                          anyway, how would you implement this into blogs for better indexing?

                          i'm thinking adding this to singe posts, so they dont get mixed up with many "previous" pages

                                                          Not really. It is more to stop the same content on your site getting indexed 3-4 different ways (which trips the duplicate content filters and hurts your reputation).
