    Autoresponder for CraigsList?

    I'm trying to figure out how to have an autoresponder sent to all of the emails sent to me in response to my Craigslist ad.

    The problem is that Craigslist "FROM" field is coded so that it really is not the one from the person who is replying to my ad. FYI: I do not want to have my email address exposed by simply entering it into the ad. I use their anonymous email address system.

      Wouldn't it just be easier to signup for a yahoo account and use that? The autoresponse thing they got are easy.

              I think you're misunderstanding me. When someone responds to my Craigslist ad it goes to my email address just so I normally would reply with a standard message. I would like to automate that so that reply goes out as soon as someone emails me as an autoresponder.

              The problem is that when people reply on Craigslist - they don't reply directly to your email - they reply to a relay email address like [email protected] - however when that message makes it to an email address the auto responder doesn't see the sender's email address in the "From" field. Instead it sees the same Craigslist email address there

                                  Just checked back and it seems that nobdy really came up with a good answer. C'mon guys. I'm sure someone knows how to do this.
