how to put members.sitename.com onto domain?

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was any scripts or any instructions anywhere on how to add names to the front of domains like .

members.sitename.com
teensex.adultcheck.com
fuckmybigfathairyass.cnn.com

stuff like that? All the AVS sites do it and was wondering how its done, my server tech guy said I can do it with plesk but would need to buy the 300 domain licence for $450 and then I can only have 300 part domains

Any help would be appreciated

Sammy

i'd be unsurprised if "plesk" required something lame like that. if you use something else, say, a regular ol text editor and an ISP that doesn't suck, you can get it done w/o paying a "license" fee.

they are indeed just sub-domains.

This is a simple nameserver entry. normally you only have www.name.com and name.com but you can also inlcuse whatever.name.com and simply point it to a seperate ip or virtual server ip and create the virtual server entry. If you just run a site than it might be a problem but if you run a dedicated this is a piece of cake.
