does anyone know of a website that can tell you your load time?
and if anyone can that is on dialup see how long this loads for you http://www.virginiaamateurs.net/ and the tour pages load.. Thank you BUT IF YA know of a website that offers load tiems put it here TOM

I'm not on dialup but it took 6.54 seconds on high speed. It would probably take at least 20 seconds on a dialup. Just a guess though.

if u have frontpage 2002 u can paste the link 2 ur site into a blank page, ctrl+click it, and it will give u load time on all speeds
fp2k does it also but that prog sux ![]()

dood my method tells u exactly what 56k speed will be
it has 28.8 also if u really want a treat 14.4 -> t1 speeds are tested in FP no need to get a dialup unless u want to slam ur head into the keyboard surfing around the only thing fp2002 wont work for is scripted sites that run all sorts of shit on their front end ![]()

I usually just right click my image folder, view the size & devide by 5
(5KBS = average download rate of a 56k dialup) |

Dreamweaver will also give u an estimate of download times. Select the speed you wish to determine the dowload for in Preferences->Status Bar
On the Dreamweaver Status bar to the right hand side will be the estimated download time for that page for the speed you selected. |
