to be honest it depends on many things when I decide to cancel an acount or not.

if it has anything to do with CP or beastie yes
if its deceptive and blind yes

many reasons but not if its double opt in or it has removes and done right. most of the time I don't even know if someones spamming us until we get notified and then they are shut off.
but for the ones who know what they are doing I would never know unless someone brings it to my attention.

So I guess it depends on many things

the difference between spam and TGPs is that with a TGP the surfer is looking for porn and with spam it's FORCED on them at times they arn't interesting in it.

think it's been said 500 times already,you have to search for a tgp or freesite,thats where a parent or parental FILTER should come into play... well of course. i run my own sites, i rarely use sponsors, and the few that i do use, i know the owners personally. why should anyone be sending me email i didn't ask for? i get loads of it everyday, always saying i've 'opted in' - when the fact is, i haven't opted into a mailing list for many years.

justify all u want, the admins and spamcops of the world ARE smarter than u and much more motivated. 99% of the ube out there is harvested lists, and harvesting gets just as many kids as it does adults. running a mailing list intelligently can help but the bottom line is if its uce its uce no matter where u got it.

the most amusing part of this post is people trying to compare a tgp to spam. while i do think tgps should have warning pages for type-in surfers, u are comparing apples and oranges. spam violates the right 2 privacy, and costs the recipient money. tgps are run like any normal business, u pay the expenses required to provide a service.
