well times are a little tough out there so instead of doin 1:200 you could expect to do 1:300 or worse and stuff like that but 1:20k is still REAL bad! Prolly the program being promoted not so great as well as you prolly need to target your traffic better.

I've noticed my stats down the last two days but before that everything has been fine and I ONLY promote CCBill sites. Well, that's not true, I have one cam sponsor and one non-ccbill sponsor but other than that.......

I have 2-3 day slow periods every once in awhile so I'm not terribly concerned with it.

You didn't say what your stats were before you hit 1:20000 so it's hard to provide a constructive response. But, based on what I do know, I'd guess it has to be the sponsor or your traffic.

While CCBill has it's issues they are the 300 pound gorilla and have been doing what they do for a long time so it would be hard for me to think it's them.

I cut my ccbill traffic to almost nothing now.. Sucks, because there were some good programs, but about 5 months ago the conversons went to total shit for ANY of the ccbill programs I was using.

This was blog/SE traffic and some high quality TGP traffic that was "clicked" from a text links. (ie not a bunch of shit skimmed gallery traffic)

I switched my primary to CCBill from Verotel and it could be just coincidence but I noticed a very noticeable change in my conversions over the last month .. could be just the economy but.. that was a pretty quick change .. I am actually thinking about a month more and switching back ..

When I had ccbill as my primary biller, slightly more than 50% of sales were declined, yet the secondary approved 100% of them.

BTW.. your stats.. don't forget that many programs count raw and even hits to FHG

ccbill is terrible. and so is epoch. by trying to have everything under one roof using a shit interface and run of the mill standard ad tools they have fucked up.

I would say ccbill has some excellent programs. but ccbill sucks.

Glad to see it's not just me ... I have 3 membership sites I set CCBill up as the only processor, many told me that I would do better with them than Verotel, which I have on 5 other sites. Jan '08 thru August '08 I had sales and was optimistic about using them ... as of Sept. '08, not one sale on those 3 sites. Same traffic feeds, nothing has changed. I am considering dropping CCBill and switching those 3 sites to Verotel. My other sites with Verotel just had best sales ever this January by the way ... just sayin'.

I had one of my best ccbill sponsors go from 1:300 in December to 1:1400+ for January. Same sources of traffic, but I can't blame CCbill for this one. The sponsor tour changed and if I was a surfer it would scare me away. I'm looking for some new ccbill sponsors to replace it. I've had luck with ccbill sponsors in the long term and I'm not giving up...yet

Last year with UK Sex Cash I averaged 1:192 and they were my best performing ccbill sponsor. My guess is that they're not a sponsor well targeted to your traffic.

CCBill programs are about 75% of my total income.

Conversion ratio across all CCBill sponsors (almost 100% TGP traffic)
2008 - 1:1060
2009 - 1:1057

If this is a CCBill issue then I'm certainly not seeing it.

Since february of '08 I have seen an increase in sales monthly on my vstrip site. I use ccbill only right now. January of '09 has been my best month... granted more affiliates are pushing but it hasn't peaked and I have not seen a decline.

CCbill to me is reliable... i think their fucking me with 15% but that's how it is. The problem I see with them is a good amount of declines based on what seems to me bullshit reasons. I need a backup to hopefully offset some of those missed sales.

Overall, no, I have not seen a decline in sales due to CCbill.

Like I said another month and I can run a much better comparison .. but so far not as happy as I was told I would be ..

I too experienced a very odd drop off about 5 months ago. Same traffic sources and the # of uniques grew every month. My ratios with CCBill went to hell.

Oh and the site is Met Art. I love their site and it converted awesome for 3+ years of promotion but lately it's been in the toilet.

Is it the processor, the site or the economy? It's really a toss up.

Guys, I don't want to beat a dead horse here. But I see bad conversion ratios all the way around for ALL programs. When I send thousands of hits to the tour, then I've done my job.

Problem is, the surfers are clicking our links, checking out the tour, and then going straight to a torrent to download the entire members area of that site.

By the way, I was unhappy with the blues thing I pulled up on my sequencer for you. It just wasn't that good.

And the rest of the sequences were just too energetic and would take away from the card game in my opinion. Hell, I still think the music you have now is fine. It's unobtrusive as it should be. But you can always make things better too.

I did the opposite years ago, switched to Vertotel from CCBill. Verotel converts waaaaaaaaay more sales than CCBill. I also promote some CCBill sites now and they convert horribly now compared to years past.

Same sources of traffic, but I can't blame CCbill for this one. The sponsor tour changed and if I was a surfer it would scare me away. I'm looking for some new ccbill sponsors to replace it. Conversion ratio across all CCBill sponsors (almost 100% TGP traffic) 2008 - 1:1060 2009 - 1:1057 If this is a CCBill issue then I'm certainly not seeing it.

Altheon Confirmed User Join Date: May 2004 Posts: 506	I too experienced a very odd drop off about 5 months ago. Same traffic sources and the # of uniques grew every month. My ratios with CCBill went to hell. Oh and the site is Met Art. I love their site and it converted awesome for 3+ years of promotion but lately it's been in the toilet.
