Do you do too much?

I do.

I design full time (10 hours/day atleast)
I try to run a TGP
I build my own paysite
I have like 7 hidden projects underway
I don't sleep

I've come to a conclusion that I'm gonna crash and burn soon.
I don't pull any money to my account, everything I get I buy more pics, and other related things. If I only took my design money I'd live very comfortably, now I have to have my chick go to work in order for her to feed me daily.

What about you? yes, you.

How much time is left to your retirement?

Wow. Longer than I thought. I thought you were going to leave within a few months. (I remember you having the "29 now retired by 30" back when I registered in March)

I was doing the same for the last 2 weeks, drinking WAY to many red bulls and V drinks. Not eating well and damn it just about ruined me, I mean yesterday I was feeling light headed and then so psychically drained I felt like I HAD to goto sleep and so I went to sleep and couldn't sleep for 4 fucking hours. I hate that.

I decided today was the day to bring myself back, so I went out for a Mountain bike ride for 1.5 hours and my heartrate was 170-180 the whole damn ride, I now feel like a new man and will try to exercise every day. I love my bikes. moutain and road.

You'll burn out if you keep that 6:45am -> 1am stuff up, I've burnt out before and it takes time to get motivated again after this industry smacks you on your ass. So do some exercise try for some everyday and cut out those caffine drinks. They are killer.

Having said all that, i'm about to do another 7 hours of work and need a kick so i'm off to the fridge for a red bull

Hey its only my first for the day so its OK (right)

Sammy

I spend too much time editing video and updating the content sections within my paysites. For months I've wanted to hire someone else to do this fuckin monkey work, but I have yet to find anyone with any experience that is looking for a job like this. But I haven't really advertised the position yet, I'm planning to do that after christmas.

Not anymore I don't. If I actually worked as much as you guys I would never even look at this board... way too time-consuming. Now it's all on autopilot... I'm considering blowing my brains out before long, though. I think I NEED to work all the time. Maybe the therapy will help with these "issues."

Script it man. Only way to fly. I add content and descriptions to our db, set up the updates on the client side a month or two in advance (every 2 days), upload the new data and it's done.

Gotta love no real work.

Cheers,
Backov

I work way more hours than I should on the TGP side of things......couple the overwork with being over-mom to two teenage boys.. no wonder I feel like I'm running in circles.

It isn't the adding new content to the paysites that takes so long, its editing that content to get it ready to be added. Video is especially time consuming.

I would rather deal with employees than capture + render + edit + cut video. I need a content monkey.

I need to sponsor a small town in India of about 2000 people and pull a Phil Knight. I can hire all the adults in the town combined to do my dirty work for less than $25,000 a year! I have to do it before Bill Gates does... and he's definitley trying!

I've thought about that before. You can hire those curry chuggers for like $5 an hour and they can code better than a comp. sci major from harvard.

You're probably right. It's rediculous.

I think these guys www.adultworker.com have a bunch of people in India that do the work for clients. Look at their hourly rates.

maybe serious programmers like C/C++ professionals, but I bet you could hire a PHP/HTML monkey to work for the change in your pocket.

I need to sponsor a small town in India of about 2000 people and pull a Phil Knight. I can hire all the adults in the town combined to do my dirty work for less than $25,000 a year! I have to do it before Bill Gates does... and he's definitley trying!

REALLY ????

The Whois info says it's registered to someone in Argentina. I guess it's not Indian workers.

Currently on the PC from about 8am to 1am most days although it's not all work. BB's etc and the odd game can be distracting

Decided though that I need a little exercise and proper relaxation so a couple of days of golf a week starts next week. If I can move to somewhere near enough to a mountain I'll be adding snowboarding to that too in the winter months :D

TGF, no that's not too much, you're doing exactly the right thing! People who can invest that much of their time and money into new projects are the millionaires of tomorrow. I have the same attitude as you as far as this business is concerned, PUSH IT HARDER and don't stop till your bank account has the size you want it to have

Keep it up!

It probably wasn't meant literally though. It is said that the camp commander intended it as a kind of mystical declaration that self-sacrifice in the form of endless labor does in itself bring a kind of spiritual freedom.
