Just read this. He admitted he screwed up by nominating Daschle and is taking full responsibility for it.

Oh please. When will the Obamagasms be over. He gets cudos for admitting he fucked the pooch? Obama said he still had full confidence in Daschle when the tax issues first came out. He is only now admitting mistakes because some of these nominations are ridiculous.

He should have pulled the plug on Tim Geithner instead of letting him get confirmed. That would have been real change. The only change you'll be getting in the next 4 years are the pennies jingling around in your pocket.

It's not an Obamagasm (although that word is funny as hell), but after a president who would never admit he did anything wrong, even on his way out the door with historic low approval ratings, seeing a president say they made a mistake and are taking responsibility for it is kind of refreshing.

I said nothing about whether he is going to be a good president or not, just that this was a change from the past. Relax a little.

I had a fucked up Bushogasm for 8 years that left everyone with empty pockets this obamagasm is kinda refreshing at least I already have some change building up in the first month jingling in my pockets

i agree for the most part, Geitner should not have been allowed to be in the administration after the tax "evasion" was unveiled..
i do think it is commendable for Obama to realize he made a mistake and own up to it, takes a person with a spine to do so..
however i am concerned that the stimulus package obama has put forth is off course, too much "special interest" allocations.. little disappointed that it is not as much into the infrastructure and green energy as he had preached during the election.

Not so much the fuck up, but the admitting to it. Every president fucks up. You can't have a job like that and not make mistakes. Most don't admit it. I liked that he took the blame and said he will take steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. I guess now we will see if he really will or not.
