While he royally fucked up the 7 series, I found most of his designs to be quite beautiful.

oh, and the ass end of the 6 was wrong too. But the 3 series looks gorgeous and I like the new z4 hardtop convertible a lot.

It will be interesting to see which direction Van Hooydonk takes BMW. Based on his haircut, I'm very curious.

The 6 was FUCKED up... what a mess.
I own a 06 3 series and I enjoy it. I have owned 3 bmw now and I will continue to own more regardless of who is the chief designer.

Bangle started a revolution in automotive design. Almost every other manufacturer tried to imitate new BMWs. The fact that he is so controversial proves that he is a true artist... and not to mention BMW rode him all the way to the bank.
