Me too. I read the story and it sounds to me like it was written by a 16 year old high school news paper columist whos looking to write dramatic theater in the future. It reads about as profesionaly as a comic book.
IMHO, Marijuana is not a drug. Crack is, heroin is, Marijuana is not. Also, the guy in the picture dosent really look like Phelps. Could be him, but might not. Also, the IOC likely wont drug test him in the first place because of the timing of the incident, and the fact that if he's smoking pot out of that bong which can not be proven unless you were the guy who handed it to him or next in line, then he's only smoking pot. Pot is not a "performance inhancer" in any way shape or form.
The IOC to my knowlage (correct me if i'm wrong, cause I may be) is a multi-national committie and many or the represetitives hail from countrys that are not like the U.S. and dont give two shits about pot, therefore not viewing it as a drug in the first place.
