Lol it was a comic and no one says you have to use windows. There's linux and bsd that's free, hell OSX is based on BSD because apple can't even come up with their own shit. I got to hand it to apple though, take something that's free, slap some poofy gui on it and bam charge people out the ass for it.

Vista is great... I have a tweaked copy of Vista Ultimate, not exactly legal (by downloading) but if you have your own serial I don't see the harm.
Zero crashes, Zero Bluescreens, I've ran over 3 different browsers with multiple tabs (7-12 tabs in each browser), photoshop, and a few of the office products while running messenger, skype, icq and uTorrent. Then again my PC is pretty good, but I'm just pointing out the stability in a modified copy of vista.Comment

I've been using Vista on my home and office computers for about a year. All was fine until two months ago, when all my Adobe software on the home computer stopped working. Despite multiple calls to Adobe, I couldn't fix it, and it appears that Vista is the problem. Weird that Adobe programs still work on the office computer, though.Comment

Second, Vista is not as bad as some people make it out to be.
I run it on two machines and it's very stable.
The problem with people is that tend to believe things they hear in the media.
Apple trashed it and people started to think apple was the shit.
Microsoft didn't handle it very well by not putting out ads which countered these attacks from Apple so many say Vista sucks without even trying it just to follow the crowd.
Try it and then tell me Vista is not good.
In regards to Apple, go ahead and buy their machine. You going to be so fucked if you do cause if you need any hardware replacement you going to have to go to guess who, Apple and guess what cause they know you can't get the stuff anywhere else they fuck you with the prices.
If you don't buy their extended warranty they also charge you every time you call in after the first 45 days. That's some fucked up support from a hardware maker. So go ahead and buy Apple after you believe those ads, you going to come back and bag for Microsoft software and non Apple hardware afterwords.
Microsoft came a long way since Windows 98. The sad part is many people follow the crowd and shit them because it's the easy thing to do and are afraid to stand out to say they really like the product.Last edited by Azoy?; 01-31-2009, 10:05 AM.

I've been using the Windows 7 beta for about 3 weeks now and I fucking love it... it has a couple of bugs but overall it is WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY better than vista and even XP.
I have it on my laptop and desktop... I got 2 friends to give it a shot and they love it too. Everything worked fine straight from the install, no tweaking necessary.112.020.756Comment
