If you currently have a low APR, Citibank may be trying to raise your rates because the US Prime Rate is so low. I got a notice with this month's statement. The good news is that you can opt out if you give them a call. The bad news is that they will close your account when your card expires. Mine doesn't expire for many years, so I'd rather pay the lower rate for now and get a new card when it expires.
