So I am working away .. I get a blocked call .. answer it ... it is some guy claiming to be a friend from 20 yrs ago's father .. and he has to talk to me .. " I won't waste your time" was his last words before we hung up ..
I wait the 30+ min for him to make it out to my place .. he come to the door . I vaguely remember him .. just barely ...
We go inside and sit down to talk .. he almost immediately tells me he has cancer and is not doing the best .. the 20-30 min conversation goes through the whole scenario where he has cancer .. spent his and his families last penny on treatment and needs to borrow $3500 from me till he gets his mothers estate settled in the next few months .. then he can pay me back ..
err .. it was exactly like the emails you get .. accept this was in my fricken office .. WTF .. what if he is telling the truth .. ?? I asked him to have his son who I remember more to call me .. so I can verify .. my gut is saying ..scam .. but i do kind of remember him ..
