What they need to do is restructure the $$ paid to employees, get new and better vehicles, and try and find the people that are willing to have delivery 1 or 3 times a week. Makes the routes faster and cheaper.

Canada doesn't have saturday delivery. What about European countries? Do they do residential mail delivery or is it centralized at a local p.o. with boxes.

There's no post in the US on Sunday already too.. they are proposing going to 5 days only, and the new day off would be mid-week.

They're down like 9 billion pieces in only a year or so.. so many of us use email and online bill paying/auto bill paying. Less stamp sales and such is killing them. It shouldbalance out really. My only problem would be if I need to mail in a payment somewhere and the fewer days makes it late. Other than that, no biggy really.

with all the PO box mail places, why would anyone go to the post office? Let them close down, they are still trying to get a tax on emails to off set the money they are loosing on email.
