I have been deleting people to add people the last few months... It is pissing me off... Do you know of a way to add more people to your icq contacts list ?? If not what IM do you use an why ?? I lose at least one person a day too that tried to add me.. Just gone into ICQ nothingness (I know that's not a word)!!

I can assume you do use groups in your ICQ as well right?
Though I can not think of anyone that actually needs a full icq list let alone talks to that many people in this business. -

I don't know how many you have on your list but I have over 400 people, all in the industry. You can use and create new groups when the general one is full (at 200 or something I think).

I recently went from Trillian back to ICQ and my problem is that it hasn't 'found' the names for people and so everybody is just a number. Is there anyway to force it to mass look up the names? If they add themselves now (ie they weren't on my list before I moved from Trillian) they are stored as names but it is the older (many, many) contacts which are just numbers. I have to rename them manually as they pop up.Comment

Myself I use Trillian, and that covers ICQ, MSN, Yahoo and AIM, I do find that over the last 10 years allot of people on my list are dead accounts, and the upside of Trillian is you can hover over a name and if it says "ORPHANED" it's safe to delete them, cause they have not logged in in a year or more.
