Although buying a jet might seem absurd , they stilll have to be competitive when it comes to perks or else they will have no top exec's/no trust/no money. Obviously they don't need a bailout. If I recall correctly, they ordered the jet a year or so ago and I would think at that time they knew they were in trouble and probably ignored the situation.

All this bailout crap is just that, crap. I think the money this administration is tossing out the window to corporations that are only wasting it on big executive bonuses, Jets, fun getaways for clients and employees, is a crying shame.
The money could be better spent by giving dividing it between the the citizens of this country, that would stimulate the economy!

the bail out money is a loan, they pay 5% interest. most banks take the money to bolster their asset to risk ratio and just have the money sitting (which is why the structure of the bailout is not working, the idea was to free up money to start the flow of lending again..).
