Both. I make the thumbs with arles for pics and just grab screenshots from the movies. I guess it would have been better to optimize the thumbs with PS but I have a lot to do so never really tried it.

You dont need photoshop skills to do galleries.. just pay someone to make you templates for the price of 1 sale.. I myself use parts of hosted galleries and lay them out my own way that is accepted as a non fhg.

Unless you have tons of partner accounts and several submit accounts or gallery spots - it won't be very profitable.

My traffic levels from free submissions are down 50%+ percent.

A lot of sites don't accept galleries anymore due to the vast amount of free hosted galleries. The ones that still do accept galleries - traffic is down due to tube sites.

So it is a lot harder than it was 2 years ago. My traffic is down big time.

Yep, decent gallery templates can be gotten at $10-15. Adding your own sales text is essential though.
