Ouch and lost the stomach as well. Blood infections are fucking brutal, just surprised they did not catch it much sooner. Typically it would set of sirens on any routine blood workup that most places would order just for someone being sick enough to admit. I am sure most people know of the damn tests if you ever went to an ER very sick or have been admitted before - well at least in US hospitals.Comment

It's such an unfortunate thing. She sounds like she has a great spirit and will to live. I think if it doesn't kill her, it will truly make her stronger and she will probably make the most of this sad situation.
