How do you figure that? If i recieve a bunch of spam email all of a sudan and there is an unsubscribe link in it, i will click it, even when i never heard of that site.
And yes, i do use that email addy, what has that got to do with anythiing?

id never click an unsub from a real spam.... legit mailings maybe but not straight up spam

When you hit un-subscribe in the email -- it lets them know that there is a real person on the other end. They then start spamming you more, and selling your email address as a confirmed addy

cuz thats how they work generally , you will likely recieve more spam by clicking them

semi-legit ones will then usually sell your addy to a "sister" company/s if they are compliant

spammers it wont do anything but confirm the email is valid and someone reads the spams = more spam

legit ones you wouldnt be complaining
