I might know where the problem is. Some of you (especially those from North America) mix spaniards from Spain with latino people from latin/south America whom you call spanish/hispanic too.

I really enjoyed Barcelona the short amount of time I spent there. Really classy city with a really vibrant night life and tons of cool things to see and do in the day.

Plus great food and some cheap ass wine!

What I mean is that some of north americans when they hear word spanish they think of people from latin america or of people from their local neighboorhood. I agree that they are not white.
