Starlight Bucks: Next step in pre-checked cross-sales

Well, I just came across another way of tricking surfers into expensive memberships they don't want. Ok, maybe it's not new, but I didn't see something like that before.

If I try to join StarlightPorn.com I get to a join page that has

1) 2 pre-checked cross sales
2) Both UNDER the join button
3) Both are free 3-day trials recurring at almost $40
4) They have stars behind the site name
5) Those star hints are explained on the very bottom of the join page
6) In these explanations the rebill amounts are WRITTEN, not shown as numbers or even with a $ sign

We had all this before, but 6) is what really leaves me speechless. Where I live, several companies are under investiagtion for organized fraud because of doing exactly what Starlight Bucks is doing on this join page.

Skeet, please explain why the rebill amounts are written, if it's not because you wanna fuck over surfers. Because, well - most people would think it's because surfers shouldn't see that they're signing up to something that costs money.

Use this simple method :

If something else is there other than the membership the surfer is signing up for
then dump the sponsor.

Because when the issue gets corrected the "corrector" may decide to reach beyond
the sponsor and go after those who "conspired" with the sponsor, meaning you the
affiliate.

Well, I'm not promoting them, as their sites aren't worth it anyway. But yeah, of course that's what I'd do if I had links to any of their sites.

I'm 2:8455 with Starlightbucks - with them whoring out their content like there's no tommorow and now spamming everyone with StarLightPorn, it just isn't worth it to promote them anymore, not to mention the prechecked cross sale on the join pages now - that is actually new, they didn't use to do that.

Not new, I've seen it before. At least the price is disclosed, others disclose the pricing in the terms of service.
