Normally I'm a cheap ass and just take economy. I don't hesitate to spend on great hotel rooms, limos, or general fun stuff to do (like McDonalds drive throughs) but I've always cheaped out on airfare mostly cause it usually costs (and I always check) about 3-4X more for first-class. I was never in my mind able to justify that arriving at the same time as economy. This time it wasn't even double so I said fuck it and bought a first class ticket to vegas from winnipeg to vegas for internext. I hope it was worth it.
Well, I did it. I bought a 1st class airline ticket.

sad part is I've met a lot of very wealthy people sitting in economy. I always seem to see 3/4 of the first class section full of airline employees.Originally posted by eru

McDonalds dirve through rules! As far as first class I have only been there once and that was walking to my seat in the very last row of the plane. I suppose if you have the money to spend it would be nice however I prefer to save and sit with the common folk.

good idea to not risk the chance of that rule some airlines have about weight challenged people needing to buy two tickets. This dog, is dog, a dog, good dog, way dog, to dog, keep dog, an dog, idiot dog, busy dog, for dog, 20 dog, seconds dog!

i only fly 1st class domestic. edmonton to calgary at least 10 times so far. i did edmonton to toronto once.
it's just such a crazy amount of money for long flights, that i won't do it. definitely a great way to travel though.
i also took my dad on the concorde for a new years celebration a couple of years back. that was extremely cool.we'll miss you our friend. RIPComment

just a question cause I've only been there once, but with edmonton's airport about an hour outa town and the waiting to get on and off a plane wouldn't it be just as fast to DRIVE as it's only about 3 hours between cities.........Originally posted by quiet

I'm not one to drive - but I've always kinda considered the cross over point where one needs to fly at about a 3-4 hour drive. Maybe I just like having my truck with me, I like being bigger than most anyone else on the road and renting a car is a pain in the ass.Originally posted by quiet
