The best way to make your own VOD site?

Is there a tweakable solution for this or do we have to build it from scratch?

I'm wanting to make my own VOD system with my own content.

DWB, Bill at http://PhantomFlicks.com has a very inexpensive solution for VOD that you can use with your own biller using a token system or as a shopping cart system with CCBill. I personally use WordPress as a CMS for one of my sites and integrated PhantomFlicks as the VOD script and I think it came out great.

Do you need true VOD accounting by the minute or just being able to pay credits for movies? True accounting of the minutes while you are playing requires a more complicated setup. Using some type of credit system is much easier. Hit me up if you have questions. I've done work on VOD sites before (both Windows Media and Flash).

Thanks all!!! I'll be hitting a few of you up and checking out the links.

And no thank you AEBN, I already put my DVDs with you and you fuck whits turn around and offer it as paid feeds to other webmasters. Though I get paid for that usage, I now have my unique content showing up on my competitors sites, thank you very much.

DWB, I would love to sell you a VOD solution but its no point developing and running your own VOD site as it cost too much, not just the setup but day to day running of it is a pain. Guys like AEBN / Gamelink / Yappo can provide you with a white label and got a very large tech team to help you.

This ain't no custom theater. You control members, billing - everything. You just use our bandwidth

Yea, I want to get with you about your feeds. I hit you back on ICQ.

I'm looking for VOD for my own content, not other studios. I already have a shit load of tites on most VOD systems out there already, I'm looking to bring it all in-house for some new projects.

I already give those guys all of my DVD titles.

AEBN then turns around and offers the titles as feeds to webmasters. Now, I get a cut off of that but if I wanted my content to end up on a competitors site, I'd just sell them content direct for a shit load more money than AEBN pays me.
