List Billing Processors for Merchant account users

I want to cut out third-party billing companies like ibill.com, ccbill.com, and epoch and process transactions myself now that I have a US merchant account

The only company I know of is Authorize.net

Which other billing gateways are there? Have you tried them?

It's all good, but your processing fees are enormous (just like a third-party biller) compared to the others listed here. I think yours is 13% while the others are 15-50 cents per transaction + 1.5% per transactions or some combination thereof.

Bobo,

Nope....you're referring to our third party processing fees.

For clients with their own merchant account we charge transaction fees based on which services you need from us. Our transaction fees are VERY competitive and the services we provide are 2nd to none

We can certainly compete with the rates you've listed above

Bobo,

Another thing to consider when deciding on who you will use for your gateway....

Authorize.net and many of the other "mainstream" gateways don't offer services that most adult websites need.

For example....they normally don't offer services like fraud scrubbing, 24/7 live customer service, password management, merchant banking support, etc.

I highly reccomend that you stick with an adult processor to handle your gateway needs as processing adult transactions is a much different animal than mainstream.

I'm obviously biased and I think Jettis offers the best service with very competitve fees....but if you don't choose Jettis, you should still stick with one of the other adult processors who offer gateway services like Epoch or NetBilling.....

Just my

NP....you're not the first that's missed that

I think we need to make it more clear on our website. Shit...we were doing "gateway" processing way before we ever got into the third party game...but a lot of people don't even know we offer those services....

Feel free to e-mail me if you have any other questions or need help with anything - [email protected]

Really appreciate your recommendation Ken. It's sound advice. Authorize.net didn't seem all too interested in processing for me anyway, lol.

Hi Bobo

We offer a new 3rd party gateway system over at Pennywize, called Pennywize Payments:

http://www.pennywizepayments.com

Essentially it is a gateway which interfaces to any 3rd party bank or institution, and processes charges on your behalf. Admittedly, it's been written for high volume, high-risk international merchants processing offshore, but could be used with US merchant accounts. Also, it interfaces with any number of 3rd party fraud screening companies :-)

It manages all your membership stuff, your rebills, and gives you nice reports and customer services interfaces.

We are really going to start promoting the product early next year (mostly to international merchants) and for any large volume US customers.

Give me a bell if I can offer you any more information

Steve

Thanks Ken for your comments. Of course you are allowed to be biased. I am too! -- I fully agree with your comments about processing with one of the top adult processors. Now more than ever it's important to take every possible precaution to protect your transactions especially if they are going to your own merchant bank account. Banks willing to take those trans are getting more and more difficult to get and keep. Anyone wanting to process high risk to their own merchant bank account should deal with someone who knows how to handle that type of business.

I'm sure Jettis is well qualified to handle that business and you guys run a first rate program from everything I hear.

Epoch also processes for programs using their own merchant account and has done so from the beginning. Our rates are very competitive and we allow the client to control the amount of fraud scrub they want to use, which, can be changed on the fly 24/7 from an online utility. You can even have a 3rd party account as a back-up if you want or use it to take ACH transactions.
