I was rushed to the hospital because of Aspartame.
My legs and my head got numb and thought I was actually dying.

Never felt right every time I consumed it. I can detect it right away and this shit is everywhere. So no fat free or Diet stuff for me.
Also, beware of the labels that say'' No aspartame'' cause the ''Sucralose'' they use instead of Aspartame is as damaging.

How do you feel about NY State raising taxes on only NON diet sodas?

I think MSG is one of those things that was never NEEDED in the first place. For example, I dont even keep table salt handy because I never salt anything. It's purely an aquired taste, and as a child I would knock my mothers hand away whenever she tried to salt my food. One time dumping all of my sweet corn onto her plate after she'd salted it to HER elevated grown up taste, lol. Headstrong kid, but it saved me from eating a ton of 100% unnecessary salt didnt it?

Same with MSG.. it's not needed, so it should never be in anything. Unfortunately in the US, the FDA is not in the business of keeping only "good for you" foods on our tables.. it's function is to keep the "we're sure it'll kill you" foods off the table.. so we're on our own with this.

I know that a lot of flavored potato and/or corn chips have MSG in them (Doritos, Pringles, etc)

MSG is only harmful to your health if you're susceptible to fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and intense spiritual experiences involving contact with angels.
