That being artistic is some form of retardation.

Over the years I have thought about it quite a bit.
Some people just have no creative acumin, thier lives are dictated by reason with not much thought in the act.

As a creative or artist I have realised I act more on my emotions more than anything else during key points in my life. Not truly the smartest decisions either I must admit.

Non artist's I have realised see very differently than I do.

For example: Where as one might observe a simple frying pan and dismiss the frying pan as just what it is and move on to something else I often find myself wondering about the frying pan, where it's been, who's used it, how did get on the stove and going even further with the thought process and the more I think about it the more it's very reality bends into something symbolic. In my eyes all things have some sort of meaning for analysis.

In otherwords I think more creative minds tend to have far more drifting thoughts on what they behold than non creatives. I wish I was able to keep focus on things without my mind drifting and wondering constantly. The only way to clear things up is through repetition such as when playing guitar and refining minor parts of a rythm while it allows me to explore the elements of each sound I hear in detail, which in turn allows me to take pieces move them around. I can do it for hours on end and its not just with guitar it's with design to and I wonder why such little trivial things capture my mind so intensely.

I wish it would stop sometimes...

Whats reality like to you? Are you more creative type or more of a live the life for what it is and move on sort? I have always had a hard time of letting go of things during the course of even a simple day or even simple moment as I find myself reflecting on veritable shit that does not matter.
