for $30 month, the database will be updated daily. you will not need to run any scripts or worry about things breaking. so in a month around 10,000~20,000 videos are added across tube sites.
however, the huge database containing 230,000 rows of videos is $400. i just factored in the large amount of time and effort put to compiling this. absolutely legal last time i checked. it follows all the TOS at the respective tube sites. Again, not my business whether they have 2 or 4 hours videos. i just collect information, a LOT of it, that by itself is meaningless. Only by choice, the owner can choose to manipulate and read the database to turn it into a humanly enjoyable format. google does it too, so you should start suing them.

If their TOS is like youtube then this is a violation because they prohibit embeding
their videos on a site that is "in competetion". Youtube gave me a violation warning
because I uploaded a video and embedded it on my tube site.
So good luck on this.
BTW :
A little bit of htaccess and a simple perl script will wipe your databse out after people
spend $400 on it.
Just look at a youtube video page and they show you the webpages that have embedded
