Honestly, I could prob make it past the first round as I know for a fact I can sing pretty well, but I have enough common sense to know that I do not have the look nor am I a good enough singer to be the next American idol so why even try and waste everyone's time.

That's what I don't understand about a lot of these jokers who do pass the first round. It is like okay you can sing in a bar or a club but can your voice sell out concerts with 20,000 + people... NO

I've been told I can join the dogs howling in the pound choir....so I'm thinking no...I would not show up because I would ridiculously embarrass myself.....if it were based on looks...I think I could do it....TALENT and looks? I'd rather spare myself from permanent humiliation

The people that are the worst are the ones who really do have no idea that they can't sing and they've lived in some fools paradise thinking they can...
the ones just there for the 15 seconds of fame are not as pathetic in my opinion....

but wow...1,000 times no...I'd rather just watch the crazy on tv ;)

I don't watch the show, however... having played Sing Star a few times, I know for a fact that I'd be a miserable failure on that show.
My wife on the other hand would do quite well (maybe not win or anything, but she'd pass the audition!)

Those are the most entertaining to watch though. As they melt down from the rejection. You'd think Simon just murdered their beloved pet the way they go on.

I think my gf could make it to past the first round. She always blows up the spot when she sings, whether it's karaoke, church, or opening for J-Kwon and making the crowd chant "Go white girl Go".
