I have bought 2 of those in the past.
    1 in 2005. And another in 2007.

I can honestly say, both were crap. Trying to figure out how to setup everything on to the remote was just too confusing. Or maybe i was just lazy. It's probably why they are always upgrading them / coming out with new models.

    For me, that remote. Sucked.

I took the one i bought in 2007 back as i still had time to. But the one in 2005 sat in it's package for 2 months before i even took it out of it at home ;)

Would like to get one of the newer ones but just can't justify spending that much on a remote.

        I totally agree....I love mine.

It took me about an hour to program it and it's been working great so far!

I was going to buy one for my Dad for Christmas since it takes him an hour to show me what turns on what when I stay there - until my Mom pointed out that of the 5 remotes he uses are ALL universal remotes!! (and this is a man with an engineering degree........)
